In September of 2017 I had the privilege of being chosen to be the Wedding DJ for Jess and Russ’s wedding reception. The party was held at the Warrington Country Club, in Warrington, Bucks County Pennsylvania. Jess and Russ are an awesome couple who I absolutely loved working with. When meeting with both of them for our final wrap up, I made sure to denote all details and create a plan for the night which I then personally emailed to both Jess and Russ. I always make sure I have all important details and formalities planned ahead of time for an optimal wedding experience. Just like every wedding I DJ, this wedding had many highlights that I wanted to make sure all guests were aware of. By the end of our wrap up meeting I was prepared and excited for the big night.
The night went just as planned. I arrived to the Warrington Country Club and set up my equipment as well as reviewing important details of the night with the photographer, videographer, event coordinator, and the staff at the club. Once cocktail hour ended, we brought everyone in to the ballroom and began our introductions. The parents, bridal party, and bride and groom each had came out and the guests were cheering so hard it was time, Jess and Russ had a dance prepared for their first dance as husband and wife, it was a special moment that everyone will always remember. After toasts and the meal it was time to dance. The dance floor was packed the whole night with songs from artists like Prince to Peaches and Herb to Pitbull.
The guests were also really excited for the end of the night breakfast bar which included many different breakfast specialties including special cuts of bacon. At the end of the night I made sure to announce not only the breakfast bar but also a special take home package, dog and cat treats for all their guest’s fur babies. The bride and groom love animals and wanted to include their special furry family members. I even took some for my two cats at home, they loved the treats!
Jess and Russ are amazing, and I enjoyed getting to know them before the wedding and it was awesome to be a part of their celebration. I look forward to staying in touch with them as they begin their lives together as husband and wife, and if I need any more cat treats I know where to go.
As always, it is a pleasure to work at the Warrington Country Club. Their staff is always professional, easy to work with and they do an outstanding job. I also had the opportunity to work with Aaron Mitchell Photography, who – as always – took some A+ images. I appreciate them letting us feature their images here on our blog.
