About a year ago, Gene Blum from Drexelbrook Caterers reached out to me to tell me about a new venue in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It took me another six months to finally get out to see it. Now I should preface this with the fact that I do several site surveys a month, where I go check out an event space and do a walk-through to familiarize myself with the venue, but when I went to see The Fuge for the first time, I was truly blown away. Now this isn’t just me saying this for the sake of the blog post, or trying to get into the good graces of the folks in charge, The Fuge – or ‘Centrifuge – is perhaps not just the coolest new event space in Bucks County, it is perhaps the coolest event space period.
What is a centrifuge exactly? Well, adding to the coolness, The Centrifuge in Bucks County, located at the old Johnsville Naval Base, is where all of the Astronauts for the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo space missions were trained. As a matter of fact, every American Astronaut launched into space through the early 1980s was trained right here in Bucks County. A centrifuge is a massive mechanisim is a round room in which the Astronauts would train by being spun around and around to test ‘G’ forces, and how they could handle space travel (in a nutshell). If that isn’t cool enough, The Fuge in Warminster, Bucks County is a huge, perfectly round space (see photos) which can be transformed into virtually anything you can imagine. With seemingly endless ceilings, and an impressive space, I can honestly say that in my twenty-plus years of working in the event industry, I have never seen anything quite as unique.
Sam Cravero – the owner of The Fuge – provided me with these photos which, although very cool, are only a small glimpse into the awe-striking space. The Fuge is something you simply have to see to believe. Don’t take my word for it, contact The Fuge and see for yourself. Whatever event you’re having, your guests will be blown away by this incredible new venue.
Only yesterday, The Bucks County Courier Times held a massive wedding showcase at The Fuge with about 1,400 guests that passed through. Kudos to Phyllis Jablinowski and Gene Blum, as well as the rest of the team at The Fuge for putting together such a successful event. Additionally – for those of you who remember the local Philadelphia television program “Dancing On Air”, well, the show is coming back, and will be taking place at The Fuge.
Cutting Edge Entertainment is proud to have our DJ Company be a part of the hand-picked team of event professionals to be preferred vendors of The Fuge, and we are excited to be providing the entertainment at the first Bar Mitzvah to be held at this awesome facility.
But again, don’t take my word for it, click on the link below and check out The Fuge for yourself. You wont be disappointed.
