Hello Craig,
I am in the wedding business as well. I own a wedding chapel and banquet facility and may I say, “I have had it with The Knot!” I cannot believe what they allow these brides to post. So much vendor trashing goes on. I along with countless others have been a victim of this bull…t. I have worked my you know what off to build a reputable business only to have disrespectful spoiled little girls post nasty lies about myself and how I run my business. This is LIBELOUS activity and this is ILLEGAL.Something NEEDS to be done!!! I am mad as hell……anybody else,along with myself willing to take on this challenge???

I hear you Craig, we advertise on the Knot, and frankly, I’m considering cancelling. We haven’t had a qualified lead from there – EVER.

They also don’t think New Mexico is very important, even though it’s quite a destination for celebrity weddings, and people who want to get married in the “Old West”. Despite trying to get them to differentiate our market from Albuquerque photographers, they think it best to lump us all together. We’re actually closer to El Paso. And they lump El Paso in with Austin, which is over 500 miles away. WTH?

Yeah, I’m largely done with them, I need to call them. The only thing that keeps me hanging on (and I bet they bank on this) is that the other photographers in our area also advertise on the knot – and it’s hard to give that placement up.
